Hi all

New to this and just bought a 2010 XF. On getting home both headlights don’t work. Sidelights and main beam are fine. Looking through the manual I can’t seem to find where the fuse for them is.

Many ideas/thoughts/experience would help before I impulsively buy 2 bulbs to find they’re not needed.

Many thanks

Stuart

Welcome to the club, Stuart.

I am sorry I cannot help you with that, but I am sure XF owners will assist.

Did your car have a fresh MOT when you bought it?  You could use Vehicle Smart, a free app to check its last MOT and see if there were any advisories.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi

inised the app before purchase and no advisories at all. Tried new bulb today and still no joy. Unable to locate which fuse to check too.

With both not working, it was unlikely to be the bulbs.

If you bought from a dealer take it to them to sort. May well be a switch problem.

Did you not get a handbook with the car?   If so it will show the fuse box locations.
