Recently asked question regarding CTEK maintainers by one of our members and I’m not sure if he received the picture. This is what I have,

The CTEK 5 will suffice.

And this is the recommended Jaguar connection for those with the BMS fitted at the negative terminal.

hi

similar setup on mine, but have a Jaguar ctek, with dedicated socket in the boot

but you should really put a fuse on the red wire as close to the battery terminal as possible

if that red wire get trapped, a few hundred amps will flow and it will burst into flames

any time you connect anything to the battery, you should fit a fuse as close as possible to the battery positive terminal

the genuine jaguar optional ctek charger comes with a socket that goes in the side carpet, which is also fused

cheers

Joe

*Due to the on-going semiconductor issues, the supply of new cars and vans has been dramatically hit. If you are due to change your vehicle/s in the next year or so you will NEED to start looking now to avoid disappointment or potentially being without a vehicle.
