s type interior light fault.

Can anyone help please. I have a 2003 2.5 V6 auto petrol. Interior roof lights/footwell lights/puddle lights  won,t go off after closing doors/locking car/starting engine etc. Have replaced roof light above rear view mirror, had wiring checked by auto electrician (who said fault was in front electronic module). Have replaced this module with a salvage one but problem still there. Then replaced this module with another salvage one but still no fix. So far I have spent £277 on parts & diagnostics.

I would say from looking at the diagrams, one of your “door ajar switches” may be a little sticky. Fig 09.01 of this manual refers,

many thanks Jim. I will have a look but "door ajar" isn,t showing on my instrument panel, unless of course I actually open one of the doors.
