Hi All,

I’m unsure if anyone can help but here goes ………

My wife, has a lovely 2006 model XKR but her driver’s side brake light is not working. We have been to two JLR dealers and both say that there is an issue with the auxiliary junction box. Strangely, the brake light issue is showing up on the dashboard as an error.

Apparently Jaguar has removed this item re: part no. c2p2669 auxiliary junction box from their parts catalogue.  We have also tried breakers yard on-line to no avail.

The XKR is due for its MOT in a couple of months, and as the XKR has great sentimental value to my wife (took delivery same day as our grandson was born), I would be very grateful if any members could point me in the right direction to purchase  a used part?

If you can help please email me on [email protected].

keep safe,

John

I would disconnect the brake light and test that you have power at the plug when the brake pedal is pushed before you go spending a lot of money on what may not be needed.

It could also be a bad ground on that side.
