  1. Welcome to the Club, Trevor. The X type is a very nice car, and the estate is a rather good workhorse -- my son has one with the 2.0 Diesel engine. The Jaguar experience is quite unique. Regards, Peter.

  2. Always like to acknowledge other drivers who have had the foresight to buy a Jag. although it does tend to be marque for marque, however, when I had my XF the only other jag driver that acknowledged me was one who had an identical colour/year to mine (Emerald Fire). So perhaps it's an older car thing. That said, the XF has gone and been swapped for an 2005 XK8 2 weeks ago, and working peculiar hours/shifts as I do haven't really been out much to see if it works with other XK8ers, hoping it does, I kinda like the feeling of camaraderie, we know why we bought our cars and what they can do; Euroboxes they most certainly aren't!!

  3. Hello all Just joined this afternoon. I've driven Stags since 1993 (well, two different Stags) though hard to part with the last one after it became unacceptably unreliable. Now in a boring E Class Merc convertible but still grieving for my lost V8 convertible love. Every other car is another blasted E Class but I want something nobody else has got. A year or so ago I followed an XJS coupe across Tower Bridge and thought, Blimey, not seen one of those in years...weren't they pretty? They still are. Especially ones like this although the Stag owner in me loves these too because, well, Stag. Hoping to acquire one of these puppies at some point, but torn between the oldest ones (40 year old car, why not?) and the newer ones which were sooo pretty. Tough call!
