  1. Hi John....welcome to the Club Yes, it definitely sounds like the heater resistor pack has gone faulty. Not entirely sure where it is located but generally it is in very close proximity of the blower fan assembly. Try checking in and around the glovebox area first
  2. Does it seem to relate to not working when it is wet or exceptionally cold temperatures?
  3. Hi Scott....welcome to the Club If it is not heating then it is more than likely the seat base element that is faulty (broken pad element) You should be able to remove the seat and examine the element and wiring from the underside and if broken then it may be visible or use a multimeter to check continuity of the connections.
  4. Hi Eric.....welcome to the Club Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the E-PACE, have heard a few bad things about them, could probably be considered to be teething problems with the new tech but hopefully later editions should have ironed out the issues. Hope the new one is a much improved model and that you can thoroughly enjoy owning and driving it Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  5. Very much agree with this sentiment....As Frank has already mentioned, many thanks for all the valuable assistance you give to the Club members
  6. Happy New Year Joe 😋
  7. Hi Nigel.....welcome to the Forum If you give them your XKR and £7.5k you will end up with 650bhp....sounds reasonable to me. Not sure what the mods are or indeed what the quality of workmanship is like so I would probably refer you to Google to carry out some research on the company, customer reviews, etc. Let us know if you go this route as would love to see how it looks (and goes!) Cheers, Trevor
  8. Hi Roger We are looking to attend more events this year and it could be a possibility that Silverstone Classic could be one of them...depending on numbers of course. Let's see who responds to this post to gauge interest in attending this superb event (I have been before and can highly recommend it)
  9. Hi John....welcome to the Club A fine collection of Jags over the years Good to have you onboard
  10. Hi Brian....welcome to the Club Plenty of info on here, probably best to just cruise through the S-Type section of the forum and read as much as poss to get a good idea of the highs and lows of the model. Usually, there is a recurring theme of a particular fault and hopefully the answers will also be there. Merry Christmas to you as well 🙂
  11. Hi Roger.....welcome to the Club I have moved this post to the S-Type section of the forum as you will more than likely get a response from a fellow S-Type owner in that section. Cheers, Trevor
  12. Hi Oliver....welcome to the Club It sounds like it is the main battery charge memory.....e.g, you have replaced the battery but the electronic memory is still reading as low. You will need to reset the vehicle electronic memory to accept the new battery voltage (believe there is some info on how to do this on here). This should at least get it to turn over. If it does not start from there then this may be the reason it has not been running for a period of time Let us know how it all goes
  13. Hi Pete...welcome to the Club Hope all goes to plan Good to have you onboard
  14. Hi Ray.....welcome to the Club It's never too late to become a Jaguar driver and the XF is a fine machine to own Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  15. Hi Henry....welcome to the Club Looks absolutely regal in that colour and interior really compliments the exterior Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  16. Hi Tony....welcome to the Club I'm sure there will be plenty of add on accessories on the market as soon as they are available (e.g. side steps, etc) Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  17. Hi Paul.....welcome to the Club Sorry for the late response, good to have you onboard Sounds like it has over-extended the drive rod. First check there is no obstruction underneath the seat (e.g. something dropped into the area such as a bottle or umbrella) Possibly try operating it with someone gently pushing back with their feet against the front footwell and see if it can be persuaded back off the rest point. Cheers, Trevor
  18. Hi Bill.....welcome to the Club Sorry for the late reply. You can list the parts in this forum https://www.jaguarownersclub.com/forums/forum/25-jaguar-parts-and-accessories-for-sale/ Would love to see some photos of the build, sounds very exciting (and expensive!) Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  19. Hi David.....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  20. Hi Mark.....welcome to the Club Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  21. Hi David Here are some links to Tracker companies that we have listed within the Club as offering a discount to Premium Members:
  22. Hi Roy....welcome to the Club As long as it is serviced and maintained regularly using quality replacement parts then there's no reason it shouldn't go on for many years to come Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  23. Hi Raj....welcome to the Club Wow! huge miles but as I always say 'it wouldn't have got to those miles if it wasn't any good'. Just got to carry out routine maintenance when it is required and use reputable parts and fluids and you shouldn't have any issues Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  24. Managed to crash by BMW Z3 on cheap Chinese tyres that came with a set of replacement wheels....LETHAL in the wet is definitely an understatement!!! I would not recommend anyone to buy these dangerous tyres that are currently flooding the UK market, spend some money and buy branded or at least not Chinese.
