  1. I had the radiator tank split on my Mazda in France a couple of days ago due to thrashing it along the French roads in high temperatures. It would be worth looking at the hose clips if they are the spring type and replace with Jubilee clamps if they have lost their tension...in some cases they can let high pressure coolant blow past the hose when pressurised and in extreme cases, even pop the hoses off.
  2. Hi Choo Choo.....welcome to the Club I have read it here several times before that owners are dissatisfied with the SatNav and that its old school compared to a lot of other manufacturers' systems....maybe it is best to just run with a TomTom as easier to update as well. There is a Road Trip section in the forum if you want to write a few words about your trip? Cheers, Trevor
  3. Hi Peter....welcome to the Club Feel free to post up a picture of your new Jag Good to have you onboard Cheers, Trevor
  4. Unfortunately, it is no longer applicable but I do believe if you scour the internet you may find some other discount codes for cruises.
  5. Great news Peter...sounds like a great result to me
  6. It would be great to see Jaguar return to Le Mans.....especially as they did so well at the end of the '80s
  7. It could be poor fuel you could have picked up somewhere in Europe.....but would also recommend changing your fuel filter sometime which may cure it
  8. Hi Richard....welcome to the Forum Hopefully it will sail through the MOT, probably best to wait and see if it does fail on anything then worry about it then. Cheers Trevor
  9. Hi Ian....welcome to the Forum and to the wonderful world of Jaguars Just forget about using your left leg and enjoy the drive
  10. Hi Tony....welcome to the Club ... better late than never :-)
  11. Hi Trevor....welcome to the Club Welcome also to the wonderful world of Jaguar Cheers, Trevor (another one!)

  13. Hi Stuart...welcome to the Club ....and welcome to the world of Jaguar also !
  14. can't find anything on eBay or the like, so probably Dealer only part
  15. Diesel engines have a certain amount of wash-down from the fuel and other deposits that contaminate the oil and can be caustic/acidic which can harm the white-metal bearing shells if left over time. Equally, if the engine is low usage then you can experience wash-down of petrol into the oil and is noticeable by the smell. This can cause problems with compression and poor starting.
  16. Great news! I always think of it like the Dentists waiting room...and the apprehension of how much pain and money it's going to cost me.
