Hi Nigel.....welcome to the Forum If you give them your XKR and £7.5k you will end up with 650bhp....sounds reasonable to me. Not sure what the mods are or indeed what the quality of workmanship is like so I would probably refer you to Google to carry out some research on the company, customer reviews, etc. Let us know if you go this route as would love to see how it looks (and goes!) Hi Roger We are looking to attend more events this year and it could be a possibility that Silverstone Classic could be one of them...depending on numbers of course. Hi Brian....welcome to the Club Plenty of info on here, probably best to just cruise through the S-Type section of the forum and read as much as poss to get a good idea of the highs and lows of the model. Usually, there is a recurring theme of a particular fault and hopefully the answers will also be there. Merry Christmas to you as well 🙂

Hi Oliver....welcome to the Club It sounds like it is the main battery charge memory.....e.g, you have replaced the battery but the electronic memory is still reading as low. You will need to reset the vehicle electronic memory to accept the new battery voltage (believe there is some info on how to do this on here). This should at least get it to turn over. If it does not start from there then this may be the reason it has not been running for a period of time Let us know how it all goes

Hi Paul.....welcome to the Club Sorry for the late response, good to have you onboard Sounds like it has over-extended the drive rod. First check there is no obstruction underneath the seat (e.g. something dropped into the area such as a bottle or umbrella) Possibly try operating it with someone gently pushing back with their feet against the front footwell and see if it can be persuaded back off the rest point. Managed to crash by BMW Z3 on cheap Chinese tyres that came with a set of replacement wheels....LETHAL in the wet is definitely an understatement!!! I would not recommend anyone to buy these dangerous tyres that are currently flooding the UK market, spend some money and buy branded or at least not Chinese.

Either hoses or ABS issue (valve holding on that particular circuit/channel)

It sounds like the automatic gearbox fluid needs topping up or replacing (assuming it is an automatic) if it is a manual gearbox then the clutch is slipping
