Fuel filter?
-
The receivers for the tpms sensors are mounted, front and rear, on the lower part of the bumper.
You have to partially remove a bit of the arch liner to see them
They look like small tennis bats, clipped in, lying on their side
Check if they’re all mounted correctly
Otherwise, it’s failing battery(s) in the tpms sensors
-
You need to get the codes read
Otherwise it’s just guesswork
-
Shop around…
That’s robbery
Or do it yourself, it’s easy and very considerably cheaper

Passive or non passive entry?
Any fault codes?
State of charge of your car battery(s)?

Same as mine…
I’ve read of many egr faults and many potential repairs, i.e. removing and cleaning off/out the sooty tar that forms also running a cleaner through in the fuel (snake Oil in my opinion). Few are successful and subsequently new egr’s are bought
You can get an egr delete, but this is software and I’ve no idea of the cost
Hopefully, the fault was indeed a one off and doesn’t reappear
As for the code reader thing? Weird, I don’t have a scooby - I would try a different code reader first…

Particular engine?
-
Just do it for peace of mind
-
The stop start battery is the main (big) battery
Do both of them separately
-
Yes
it looks like a duff solenoid on the turbo or an air leak on the air intake
-
This could be one of the weird problems relating to water ingress of the central junction box
Just a guess though….
-
I’d go for either a duff button or the wiring at the lock
-
Does it lock/ unlock with the fob?
-
Hmm…
Not really the mileage for changing the Oil.
Obviously, it wouldn’t do any harm. If you do get it changed, remember to insist on the proper lifeguard Oil and zf filter (which is incorporated in the pan), these two are critical for proper operation
I take it this is just at start up, when the Oil would be cold?
Is there a leak, low on oil?
This isn’t a quirk, it shouldn’t be doing as you say

Have a look at this, it might sort you out :
Good luck!
Your car security settings have been scrambled
You’ll have to get the module reprogrammed
Dealer - will want to change the module and reprogram - megabucks
indy - will reprogram only and be a lot cheaper
yourself - using sdd, free
-
Not if it’s been serviced regularly
-
You should take it back to the garage you bought it from and get them to fix it for free
It’s your rights after all, sale of goods act and all that…

I think you’ve got unbolt the seat at the front and tilt it back, then you can get to it
check for dampness in the area
-
Did the battery light flash when trying to operate the windows?
-
Ok, worth a try…
If your car is of the older variety, there is a b/tooth module below the passenger seat. This can suffer from water ingress. Check for damp carpets
In newer cars, the module is in the centre console
And in even newer cars, it’s built into the music centre bit - can’t remember it’s name…
so, what I’m saying is - it’s probably a duff module!

Are the windows opening with their actual door buttons or the drivers door buttons?
as for the locks, they fail quite a lot and the only option is a new lock or replacement internal lock motors
-
Lunar
Only disconnect the battery neg if you know what you’re doing
You could land in a whole heap of pain
if the window is making a sound when operated, it looks like something’s eaten itself in the winder mechanism

Anything plugged into the car’s usb?
This can cause bluetoth problems
