  1. Gavin There are good diagrams in your Owners Handbook. If you do not have handbook this link may prove useful: https://www.carmanualsonline.info/jaguar-s-type-2005-1-g-electrical-manual/?srch=fuse+box Good Luck with correcting your problem. Beat Wishes and Regards, John
  2. Good that you have the problem sorted. Happy motoring. John
  3. Do not wish to poke my nose in where it is not wanted but I wonder of this link may prove of any use? Good Luck, Best Wishes and Regards, John
  4. Pete Thanks for your message. I am enjoying my S Type and think I always will. Have had some expense and trials with it but as far as I am concerned I did know that life with an S Type would not be trouble free and could prove costly. It is one of the best condition and lowest mileage cars I could find. Hopefully it will be capable of seeing me out. I am almost 72 and get a great pleasure from the car. Regards, John
  5. I had Jaguars as a late teenager and when I got married progressed to Nissan 200Sx`s and Skylines. I was not allowed to have Jaguars because my darling wife considered them too pretentious. My darling wife died in my arms on March 29th this year and one of the last things she had to say to me was, "Just make sure you now get that Jaguar you have always wanted." Am now the owner of a gorgeous S Type and unfortunately the looser of a darling wife. The S Type can obviously not replace my sweetheart but it is a fact that the S Type is more "high maintenance" than my wife ever was and also a lot more fickle. May be your Mum was right. !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best Wishes and Regards, John
  6. having given thought to the above suggestion I am probably being very stupid but what I am having a problem understanding is that after the two Lambda Sensors (up and down stream) there are to the best of my knowledge no other Sensors in the exhaust. If that be the case then how does the "Efficiency Below Threshold" get read and eventually produce a code. The sensors being brand new are plainly working so where is the possibility of too much air being calculated from? Cheers, John
  7. Nichole Nothing showing on submission of what I am taking to be a video. Therefore cannot see what you are attempting to show us. Rain and S Type have caused problems with missing and rough running. I believe it filters off the channel around the bonnet and washes off the bulkhead. usually onto Bank 1. Not saying it is this because cannot see the important bit you are trying to show us. Regards and Good Luck, John.
