hi i all so have cctv cameras installed in our property. better to be safe ect and put up a sign saying 24hrs cctv recording as well as one saying tresspassers will be shot survivours shot again. us scots dont take prisoners. (dont have a gun but they dont know that )

hi peter they have a cheek. sounds like you have found a good indy ther. also micks right in a lot of ways. my mate has a snap-on diagnostic machine. snap-on agent wants. £400-500 quid for an upgrade from him. hes refused to pay. we had a chat about this issue facing indys keeping up to date with the dealers diagnostics. he said many small reliable garages will go out the game trying to keep up. he now uses a auto elec guy with laptop for any tricky work but tells the customer their is a £40 charge for this if they want it. hes honest. charlie

hi trevor, i was going to go in to the dealers today and voice my opinion but would be wasting my time. its all serviced now and properly for the price of a bottle of malt whisky. good friend. i only pay for the parts. yes i seen the pics trevor its a beauty love the coulor have fun bet you get loads of looks the car i mean lol regards charlie

and they wonder why we go to indy garages. we bought a vauxhall insignia just over a week ago from a well known dealer in the uk. the car now 5years old was bought for a use daily run a round shopping ect taking mother dogs ect. keep the xk for when i want her. came with service aye right.i had left it with my mate garage owner (very busy good rep) to check over at the weekend . phoned me tonight . him who did you buy this car from charlie. me elvans hallshaw joe, why. him. was ther a service record with it. yes why. him. it maybe had an oil change but the filters i would say have never been change since that car was new. yer kidding. him .nope. me. give it a full service mate everything please castrol oil to. thanks. service manager at them is going to get it big time ive had enough of dealers over the years.

hi peter welcome to the club. sounds if you got a good deal ther. good advice from peter the older haldfords have many products i myself use auto glym its hard work. if your lazy you can get the leather wipes they take out the dirt first then use the polish. hope this has been helpfull charlie

yes i know trevor. but i say its not for me more for us. it will be getting a service on friday i think. from my freinds garage even though it was serviced 5k ago. but i dont trust main dealerships have heard to many bad stories about them skimping . cheap filters or just clean them, cheap oil not the good stuff ect charging for spark plugs ect ect . my car is the xk . and gave in to her about it not being practical hence the vauxhall. but i know her all to well she will moan about the xk sitting ther. hope you enjoy the xkr regards charlie

well picked up the vauxhall today . wat more can you say not a lot. its manual so was a bit strange, its got to be in case her ladyship fancies a drive, she s not a automatic fan. diesel so will save a bit. but loooooong way off jaguar will get used to it i hope. allways the weekends then its xk time grrrr

hi robin they seem to play up now and then. ive had 3 of the back4 replaced and had the wiring loom checked seems to have worked. but in genearal the play up in the rain frost ect theirs pleanty comments about them on this site just search. regards charlie
