Poor showroom experience

Recommended Posts

Having searched online found a Jaguar XF that was of the spec that I was looking for at Westover Jaguar Poole.

Found the salesman totally uninterested in talking to me about the cars with the one I had traveled to view being outside in the shade still covered in ice no, attempt was made to come out and talk about the spec of the vehicle or to make sure that I was able to view properly, in fact the only response I received was to unlock the car from within the showroom and return to chatting to the receptionist.

Wont be returning there in a hurry.

Steve,

I have had shocking treatment from the Jaguar dealership, and even worse from Jaguar .

That is why I'm no longer with them, and will not be returning , not that they were bothered .

Hi Trevor

Do you mean Westover group or Jaguar in general?

There is a great diversity amongst main dealers. I am lucky to have had two very good ones.

Trevor has been lied to, which is unforgiveable.

Steve,

The Jaguar dealership in general, and Jaguar themselves .

I've got nothing against the cars or the people who make them, just the dealership , and Jaguar's customer relations.

lucky escape in my opinion

DON'T buy a Jag they are crap had mine less than a year and the intercooler has burst and now the inlet manifold new inlet manifold £185+ VAT 7.3 hours to fit and a reduced rate still a cost of £700 + VAT I cant wait to get the thing fixed but then do I keep it or get rid is the next dilema

oh and dont bother to call Jag they wont be in the slightest bit interested

its a real shame they have got their act together and are producing some awesome looking cars its just a great shame they are not building them to last there is no way in my opinion that the inlet manifold should be able to out live the rubber hoses that feed it surely but i guess that what you get from plastic engine components but still very poor show

Alan,

I'd take the Mercedes dealership over the Jag one every day of the week, and their customer service .

Alan,

I'm afraid we will have to disagree.

I got lied to by the Jaguar dealership, and customer service wasn't any better.

I will never use then again ,

yes we will have to disagree, as Mercedes are terrible, awful customer service and snooty attitude from what is just a basic VW type car range.

Never had that attitude at any other dealership including BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Toyota etc etc.
