New on here as I have just got my 05 plate S Type. I am having trouble connecting my mobile to the Bluetooth, is this a common problem . If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Has car definitely got Bluetooth?

Pretty sure it does. Has a button for phone on centre console.

They all have the button, but doesn't mean it's got it, when you press button what comes up on screen?

Sit in your car, look at your Bluetooth settings on your phone (make sure your phone is visible to other devices) and get your phone to scan for compatible devices, I imagine it will find the Jaguar if you have it installed, (not sure if ignition needs to be on!) try with ignition on and off just in case. I did this with my phone Samsung S4. It didn't find the Jag, but I was fortunate the last owner had a Parrot system installed, which I have been told by the guys on here, is one of the best! If your phone draws a blank then unfortunately your car is not equipped with Bluetooth

Do you get a bleep when you pres the phone button?

If not you ain't got blue tooth fitted?

But it's very easy to fit :D
