I've purchased a leaping jag hood ornament which was listed as fitting my 07 xk.  Called them for info on mounting and they said to check on this forum on advice on how and where to mount it.

Hi Richard, and welcome to the Club.

I have the  Leaper on my s type, and I used the adhesive one that has worked well for 5 years. 

You must fit it if it is the bolt on type at a suitable distance from the front of the car and not protruding over the radiator grill.

Don't want to stick my nose in but the X150 XK was never offered with a leaper, either in the UK or abroad.

It has the 'pedestrian deployable bonnet' so isn't meant to have anything fastened to it.

I think it would look good.????

Ive never seen a xk with one

and would possible be to far back on the bonnet, to look good

just googled xk and out of a few thousands pics not one has one fitted

so with that in mind, I think it might devalue your car and possibly put a lot of people off when you come to sell it
