What is the most common problem with your car? Are there certain common problems with your car model that you have experienced?

I fill it up with fuel, then 600 miles later I have to fill it up again!! Shocking!

04 XJ, the air struts love to blow on long trips. Thank god for Arnott Ind, or I could not afford to replace them.

:)My right foot and not realising the full potential of the XJ six sovereign 09. It's got over 260 pages in the drivers manual and its an awful lot to take in

SHMBO hates her seat and has to use an orthopedic cusion. Her continual complaining about the Jag seats. Never complained about Volvo or Mercedes seats. Some ladies do have rear problems.

I agree with MacSTR. My wife slides around on the passenger seat. I have had to place a lap tray anti slip mat on the seat for her to sit on. Other issues is the flex in the side walls of the16" tires, and the sloppy feel of the Auto gearbox.

drivers seat bolster.....if i worked in design at jaguar i would have redesigned the seat bolster so that the bottom section unclips where it wears. and replace with a new section.  for (x type and s type) along with better quality seat foam/padding.

Not really any problems, but resetting the "Parkbrake Fault" is a bit of a pain. It happens two or three times a year.

I had an XF 3.0D S on which the TPMS constantly played up: Not important, but really irritating. No faults to report on the XK in over two years: One of the many reasons why I love it!

I think the new battery has solved the problem!!

Now the biggest issue is the rising price of fuel.

Allowed in The Lounge...Off topic chat talk anything NOT related to Jaguar..Squeaks and rattles I can put up with!  Just turn the radio up!!  Nagging   women.. and her that lives in the satnav  giving instructions overrides the radio when a man knows better and decides to go there own scenic quick route 

Men never get lost.  Maybe they are not in the place they wanted to be, but they know where they are.  That means they are not lost!

Sorry Paul, but I can't stand squeaks and rattles, even if they are only from luggage: I have to pull over, and stop it as soon as it is safe to do so.

I do agree with you as to the woman on the satnav though: She is very persistent, trying to get me back on to her preferred route, even when it is perfectly obvious I have chosen to go a different way. She does know how to read a map though, concentrates on what she is doing, and gives me advance notice when I need to turn off.

Doris is much more polite than Imelda on my previous sat nav.

"Take a left turn soon if it is not too much trouble" is much nicer than "Turn left NOW."

Now that reminds me. My first experience of unhelpful sat nav systems occurred some years ago when I got the instruction 'Turn Left'. Seeing no left turn to take I assumed it must be out of sight and carried on to get a more insistent 'You Really Must Turn Left'. Noting the impolite insistence I resentfully 'WHERE?".

To which my Mother in Law replied from the backseat - 'Back There'.

Clearly hers does not look too big in the S Type - so unlike many others she should be happy.

X type door handles don't return flush after you've opened the door, can se them in the door mirrors sticking out a bit, drives me mad
