  1. I think the 57 plate was the last, Graham. My 2.7D is on an 07 plate and with only about 150k sold in the UK there are not that many around as some other cars. Peter.

  3. Hi Graham, I've had the 4.2 for about a year and a half now and I think the best way to describe it is "effortless". I absolutely adore mine, around town it's shocking on fuel but I live in the country and it averages 28 to the gallon, on a run to Leeds it did 35 so not too shabby. Performance is definitely there if you want it, or it does a lovely line in waft if not. Hope that helps,
  4. Sounds like you've made your mind Graham, you're talking yourself round to a late model S Type, can't say I blame you. Mines an 2003 model and it drives like new, I'm well impressed with it. No disregard to the X Type, I've had 2 of them, but the S Type finish and ride just feels like a step up.
