Hi
I dd mine a few years ago and once there done, they stay really wel if there just polished once in a while
never used laquer on mine
I just polish the lights when i polish the car, and they still look great
they can be laquered if required, but a lot more work involved, and if not done right will spoil them
cheers

You really do need to do a diagnostic reading and get the fault codes to be certain of what you are dealing with. Any other way you will searching in the dark and could end up chasing the fault and costing lots of wasted £££££££`s. ABS fault can also often to associated with wheel speed sensor/s. That again should show on a diagnostic check.
Best Wishes and Regards, John
Hi Michael,
The cost of the parts is a fraction of this. I went for OEM quality when I did mine and and it was under £200 inc vat and carriage for new discs and pads all round. ~£500 for labour seems a bit steep, but I do my own spannering so I'm not best placed to comment on labour charges.
I'd say shop around, if you're not doing your own work. You could probably do with a reasonable independent garage to help you look after her to keep the costs down 😉
Good luck, Russ

My Dad has also got an S Type. It only needs the sills doing which Dad is capable of. That won't be going nowhere as it has an lpg conversion. Nice cheap run for dad to his caravan in Wales!
