  1. Hello Everyone Firstly I must say that these are my opinions and not condoned or endorsed by the club. I am now in my fifties and one thing that I find sad is that the word "help" is treated by so many people with suspicion It as though they are waiting for " but it will cost you" Clubs like this in my opinion help restore the values I was taught as a child. Members genuinely help others with no hidden agendas it's just good old fashioned "I will help you" and so I would like to help someone I have six new pencil coils and gaskets that I bought for my s type my disability stopped me fitting them for a while and when I felt well enough to have a go at changing them I found that the connection on the new ones is too small so if someone wants them and can pick them up they can have them no strings just in the club spirit of help they are free

  2. Sorry to be late on the scene John, but from reading about DPFs elsewhere it would seem that many do indeed experience various noises whilst the regeneration is taking place, some even mention extra smoke when booting it and the most common advice seems to be not to turn the engine off during regeneration. Thankfully my model is not troubled with a DPF, but I had one on a previous car and I found it to be a damn nuisance. Personally I think they're more trouble than their worth but some would argue that if you look after it then it will look after you; either way, if you've got one I'm afraid you're stuck with it. Google it and you'll get all sorts of views.
