  3. Welcome to the Club. There is a jaguar Topix site you can go on and enter your Vin number and it should inform you about your car. Regards Tom.
  4. I've had 3 X Type's in blue and have gone for a XF in Ammonite Grey/Light Oyster Leather. I never thought i would have bought a Grey Colour but i think it's great and it doesn't show up the dirt as much.
  5. Furniture Clinic do a kit that you can mix up a colour to match your existing colour.
  6. The Handbook says that it might not work because off weather conditions ( to cold or too warm ) or the engine has to be up to temperature. There are certain thing's that also stop it from working like if the Heating or the Fan is on full blast, and i think you should have checked out the main 12 Volt AGM battery. When i bought my XF in September 2019 the Stop/Start wasn't working the Ford Garage i bought it from checked the Battery and i was told that it was only showing 75% charge and it really should be 85% or over, a couple of month's later the Garage had the car overnight to charge the Battery and the next day i was told that the Stop/Start still wasn't working. So they fitted a New Battery with a Higher Rating 95AH -850A compared to the original which was 80 AH -800 A and the System works perfectly within minutes off leaving the house.Regards Regards Tom.
  7. When i bought my XF in September last year, the Stop/Start wasn't working and they checked the Battery and it was 75% charged and seemingly the Battery has to be at least 85% for the Stop/Start to work. I kept asking the Ford Garage to get this sorted, and i took the car in on the 9th of December and they charged the Battery over night and the Stop/Start still didn't work. So they fitted a New Battery which has a Higher Rating 95 AH/ 950 A as the original was 80AH/ 800A and the Stop/Start is working as it should, and starts working within 2 or 3 miles of leaving my house. Regards Tom.
