  1. Not heard that one before or seen it in any pictures and I'm always looking at S types on ebay.
  2. These are mine- I was looking for a set of these for over a year, found a set on ebay which after picking up found 2 of them had flat spots / buckles. So I was just about to drop them off to get repaired and painted then I spotted another set of ebay which where A1 condition and these are the ones on my car. I think these only were only std on XS with the body kit.
  3. I've been it! I removed the whole loom from my last S then sit there for about 6 hours slowly picking the sat nav, voice and Bluetooth wires from the main loom.
  4. Like my new ones. Have a look at thread 'new alloys'
  5. That's great news well done! I sold a s type towbar with the same relays a few mths ago on ebay.
  6. The front wish bone bushes have lots of rubber in them, the arm can (if worn) move back about 15mm before any metal to metal contact. And just think what 15mm of movement can do to the tracking.
  7. Both my front bushes were badly worn and there were no knocking at all! And I have replaced all shocks and springs on my S because then you hit a bad bump it just keep on bouncing.
  8. Hi, where did you get the towbar from?
  9. A very easy way to check the front wish bone bush is to turn the steering so the front of the wheel is slightly turned out and then with hand brake on put your foot on top the tyre and try to push the wheel backwards. If the bush is worn you will easily see the wheel move.
  10. Just due a oil change using the old school way, removing the sump drain bolt. 7 litres of oil and filter from ebay £31.
  11. Have you checked the front bushes on the front wish bones? Can't see the shocks being your problem! My S was over over the place, one little bump and would then steer across the road, I found both of the above bushes worn which was upsetting the tracking every time I hit a bump.
  12. Sorry to hear that! Was it found? My thundercat was my mates bike which he owned for 14 years but it has not been started/used in 8 years. It's a 98 model in black, done 17k with full history and is std.My last bike was a 89 Honda cbr1000f which I sold 6 years ago. Here's a picture - How do you get on with yours?
  13. Oh yes so you do, not noticed before. Thanks.
  14. Hi all,Well I have got round to fitting my 18" Mercury's alloys -I think they suit it well with the lowered suspension. What do you think?
  15. It was not for sell! It was nice and I do love the green!
  16. No the disc from a XF will not work. And 2012 is the newest you can get for the s type.
  17. Please don't remind me of the powerfolds on my ZT!
  18. Sorry to hear about your problems. It's then I read about the problems of diesel powered Jags I realise how reliable the petrol engines are and how good lpg is to matching mpg figures of diesels.
  19. Then mine are on auto sometimes they just switch to full speed for no reason. The auto wipers on the s type are the worst I have come across, must of the time they are wipeing the screen then it's not needed.
  20. The f pace has only 10 posts and it's got a picture! It's not fair!
  21. Hi all,Yesterday I saw a F Pace on the road, it was a funny gold colour on the A350 in Chippenham and was on DLVA plates. Not too sure if I like it yet.
