Tomorrow must be a great day to make sure that all the work that Paul has done shows fruit.

 

I will be certainly thinking of Paul  during the meet and I hope that all those attending do likewise.

Hi All,

 

Thank you to Paul and Peter for organising the meet at the Heritage Centre, it was very interesting, good company, good humour and most importantly good weather, The cars looked splendid a lot of hard work had gone into their presentation.

 

The only downside was that turnout was low, although those attending compensated.

 

I hope that if another of these meetings is arranged turnout improves!!!

Paul and I are so pleased that those that came, especially those from a fair distance away, enjoyed the event.  I did say in July that the weather was going to be good, and I kept a lot of fingers crossed that it would be.

 

Phillip is to be thanked for bringing the XE rather than his beloved S Type, which enabled all of us to see a car which is going to play a big part in the UK auto industry.

 

It is open to any member to organise and even in any location.  It was a first time for Paul and myself, and Paul and I are thinking of a future one.

 

I hope those attending enjoyed the little booklet which nearly didn't happen as my printer had a big hiccup which luckily I managed to cure with assistance from Curry's, and Friday was quite a busy day.

I certainly enjoyed myself on Saturday, and was so relieved to be able to bring my purring, sometimes growling beast! Very good company overall, and a really nice day.

 

Well done Peter for stepping into Paul's shoes, and Paul - I hope all goes well for you both.

 

I took one or two photos, and will post them when I can (a) find the lead to connect camera to laptop, or (b) get a card reader of my own rather than 'borrowing' one from work!

Thanks for organising that guys, that was my first visit to the heritage museum and  i really enjoyed it. It was nice to meet you guys (seems jag drivers are a decent bunch) and  i look forward to another meet in the future.
