having had a bad experience with a so called staff member on this site. I contacted Jaguar uk today . this side is a scam and has no connection with Jaguar landrover uk. this site has also audi bmw mercades and other sites linked to it, I am afraid we have been conned

The Jaguar Owners Club is a club for Jaguar Owners and that is made clear.

 

I suspect that you are someone who has been a former member and has returned pretending to be Royalty  --  insofar as you have referred to me as a commoner,  and threaten to have "your council' to close down this site.

 

I think that you are an internet troll.

This person is an internet troll and known to other moderators.

 

He/she has asked for his/her profile to be removed, which I have set in motion.

 

This club is a friendly club for Jaguar Owners to exchange information and to assist, rather than have arguments.

 

The moderators are not heavy handed and just try to keep the club as it is intended to be.

Totally agree with both your comments. We as owners of the Jaguar marque, enjoy both the car, and our experiences, and use this forum to share those experiences, ask for help and advice, and also offer help and advice if possible.

I find the site a fantastic place to learn about my car, and if possible share some of my limited knowledge from years gone by.

No one forced me to join, equally I have the right to leave if I don't like / enjoy it and its content, I would suggest this individual should excercise that freedom of choice.

How very peculiar. I can only speak for myself and state that I have always found members to be helpful and friendly. Never have I seen or rather heard anyone try to proclaim the website is associated to Land Rover / Jaguar.

That person has now been banned.  Comments made in a private message concerning Pensioners, drivers of older cars, and Northerners led me to believe that this person is not really either an honest person nor a person who was going to be a real club member.
