I have just bought a second hand rear sub frame for my year 2000 S Type 3.0 to replace the original which is badly rusted. Is there any way of telling if it is the right replacement part as I want to avoid commencing the replacement work until I can be sure that it is not a sub frame for 2002 - - models. I have no reason to believe it isn't but just want reassurance. Photos are attached. Thanks.IMG_0189.thumb.jpg.0580c89109943768feadd1f807952357.jpgIMG_0190.thumb.jpg.b2c01bcc43a7480f89d68697e7a685b4.jpg

There are 2 types IIRC.

Best way is to crawl underneath and have a look at your current one.

Thanks for your responses. Much appreciated. I have ascertained that the replacement subframe is a 2002 - version, so it will be going back.
