Hi all,

I have had a few Jags over the years and now buying a 2007 S type 3.0

It has one fault; an erratic fuel gauge which seems to be all too common.

Assuming the fault is in the gauge and not the sender or their modules, can the gauge be repaired?

I have seen how the cluster is removed, but it looks like a sealed unit.

Hi Roger.....welcome to the Club

I have moved this post to the S-Type section of the forum as you will more than likely get a response from a fellow S-Type owner in that section.

Cheers,  Trevor

hi

its usually one of the fuel gauges in the tank, most have 2 fuel gauge senders, because there a hump in the tank

but to confirm you can put the dash in diagnostic mode and get all the gauges to sweep to proove its ok

have a look at the bottom for links

cheers

Joe
