There’s a massive clanking on either the front tyre or the back tyre . Sounds like something is loose or a bushing needs changing and it’s definitely not the shock absorbers. Anytime I go on uneven roads the noise becomes deafening. Any ideas please

Hi Vincent,

Are you certain it's suspension related, or could it be something loose in the compartment under the boot/trunk floor? I had a similar experience, which turned out to be the battery retaining bracket bolt sheering, allowing the battery to bounce around!

Good luck!

hi

if it that loud should be obvious by looking underneath

I would start with exhaust heat shield, they always rot through on the fixings and drop, there large aswell on jaguars

usually a easy fix with larger washers, if you remove it temporary try not damage them, as there a mot fail now if there missing

or even the large plastic under trays

cheers

Joe
