Hi, I am new to this excellent Forum, this being my first post. I am in the process of replacing Discs and Pads all round on my 2004 S Type I have replaced the fronts without problems but before tackling the rears can anyone give advice regarding the process for deactivation of the electronic brake whilst I change the the Discs and Pads.

Many thanks.

Make sure you have a brake wind-back tool before removing rear pads.

Piston tool

Front pistons can be pushed in with this too. Park brake will apply if the keys are removed from the ignition so leave them in while doing the work.

Hi, many thanks for the additional advice.  Will be purchasing the the wind back tool tomorrow and tackling the rears this week.

Regards

Roger.
