with age and lower limb mobility issues it is becoming increasingly more difficult to mount / dismount. If the suspension could be raised this could extend the ownership of the car. Any suggestions would be appreciated as would the recommendation of a garage / engineer specialising in such matters

Hi,

The XF has same suspension a S-type, theres no easy way to get much lift on the suspension

best case with something like stiffer springs or adding spring assistors you only going raise it just over an inch, only other option is air suspension, which is not going be cheap, would be custom on a xf

think better off trading in for something allready higher.

cheers

Sadly, I think Joe is right here, not sure there is an option unless you pay for some heavy customisation which will likely be very expensive.

Many thanks to Joe and Darren for confirming what I was fearing. I will have to save hard for an i-Pace in my dreams.

Many thanks again to all concerned.

Safe motoring
