I love my 2001 3.0 S Type sport!

I know the main reason for these forums is to find answers to problems. But let's not focus on the negatives.

Stand up and be proud.

So who else loves their Jag???

Superb car love it to bits, had the car for 10 months and wish I tried Jaguars before the only down side is the cost of fuel when I finish work on lates (12.30 in the morning) the motorways are fairly quiet so i tend to go for a spin, I live about 1.5 mile from work this tends to end up at a 50 mile journey!

Yes I know that feeling. My wife is French and her parents live near Angers, a 5 hour drive French side. We used to do this in her 98 Twingo, fine but back breaking. Now in the Jag it's effortless, knocks an hour off the journey and you feel as refreshed as the moment you stepped into the car.

Yes I love the effortless drive the comfort and the power when you need it. Mine s type is a weekend drive roll on Saturday :-)

Used to have a 2.7D S Type, now have a 3.0D XF. LOVE IT

I do too love my Jag, bought an XF SV8 Portfolio with 18k miles in black and while it likes a wee drink it drives so so well that it can be forgiven. silky smooth and as quiet as you like, but if you plant that loud pedal it will run like a stabbed ratpost-2574-0-68345800-1360946487_thumb.jp

Not an S-Type, but an '09 XF - It's unbelievable, I never dreamed I would love a car as much as this one.

Purchased pre-owned w/37.5K mi, now at 81K mi after only 2 years...Get It???

LOVE IT!!!!

In 1946 when the Second World War had just ended, I was 10 years old and, having seen an SS Jaguar for the first time, I announced that "I would have a Jag when I was old enough to drive"! It took longer than intended but I eventually achieved my ambition in 2002 when I was 65 when I bought an ex-demo 3.0 Litre S Type with 4000 miles on the clock. From the outset this has been a "head turning" car maybe because of its unusual colour (Roman Bronze) and partly because of its 18 inch wheels. Whatever the reason, I have had, and still get, regular compliments from complete strangers. The car has no less than 61,000 miles on the clock as it enters its 12th year in my ownership and I have to say "It was worth the wait"

I had to wait until I was 45, but yes the wait was worth it. Mine is Carnival red with 18" seven spoke wheels. I spent some money having them professionally restored back to looking like new, and now they set the car off a treat.

Love our 2002 Xjr (stiggy) asleep for winter at moment

I wish I could! The MG used to fit, but there's no way you can shoehorn the jag into my garage, it's just not wide enough!!

I am on my third XJ, my first was the 3 litre petrol XJ6 loved it to bits so bought an XJ8, I now have a Daimler Super 8, now this is one hell of a car and fast with it. I do between 20K and 30K per year an needed a comfortable conveyence and boy does it deliver. Shame they do not make them anymore.

I had a mark x years ago great big thing it was too. First time in the garage it went through the floor!! I love my s type an early model in silver with lots of miles on the clock but looks and feels like new. A joy to drive and a head turner too.

Couldnt agree more, I bought my XKR last year all I can say is brilliant, its the 4 ltr version with a few upgrades.  It puts a great big smile on my face.

LOVE MY 3.0 S-TYPE not quite as great as my previous XJS

but it was too near the floor!!!post-486-0-69644100-1362763925_thumb.jpgpost-486-0-69644100-1362763925_thumb.jpg

Bought my first Jag last May and still loving it, brings a smile to my face every time I drive - don't mind the occasional detour.  The car is a S-Type V8 Sport - love the power :D

Bought my first Jag 27th February 2013. Its a S Type V8 2001 with 58000 genuine miles on the clock. In excellent condition I cannot believe how good it is. I am used to power because my workday car is a Touareg V10 5 litre Diesel but the 'S' is silky smooth and goes around corners as if on rails. I just love this car, definitely a future classic. Ok I am also a 'classic nut' and also own a Panther Kallista. Anyone with experience of Jaguar servicing in Cardiff - official dealer and/or specialist?

I DO LOVE MY JAG I VE JUST BOUGHT IT A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO AND I DONT HOW I VE MANAGED BEFORE MINE IS A S TYPE 3.0 V6 WITH ALL OPTIONS BEING FRENCH MYSELF I CANT WAIT TO TAKE IT TO FRANCE

We drive down to Bressuire at least 3 times a year. Just set the cruise control and relax on the French auto routes.

I've had my S-Type for almost a year now, I'm enjoying it as much now as i was then - should have bough the car sooner.  It's the V8 Sport model, so can shift when the little S button is pressed - in truth it can shift without it but it's awesome with it.  I enjoy the presence and the drive down to Bournemouth to collect my son :)
