  2. Hi Paul Now this needs thinking about ---Can side lazer markers be fitted to front corners to tell when too close ???? ---Or can a sensor be fitted some how on the garage walls so a red light comes on --on the wall that you are too close to.????? Think.?? Think.?? Frank
  3. Hi Nick I had a very simular fault and changed sensors and a wheel bearing and I still had the fault on and off.?? In the end it was found to be the short set of wires under the o/s wing that goes from the sensor to a joiner through the inner wing £4 something on Ebay so if I was you I would change both fronts and see.???? Frank

  12. Hi Andy --You say its on the easy bank so if it was you I would put the old plugs back in and if it runs OK again it would mean that one of your new plugs is breaking down under load [ It does happen at times ??? ]--you can then change them one at a time to find the bad one and get it exchanged. All the best. Frank

  16. Hi Brian --- I think you should check The secondary junction box it is located on the bulkhead in the LH side of the cabin near the ‘A’ post. It acts as a splice header to avoid having numerous splices in the harness. There could be a wire off or corrosion of some sort best to have a look .?? Well worth a try all the best.??? 19. Hi Graham -- Welcome to the Club--You say you dont think its the exhaust but I seem to think that I would check that the exhaust isnt touching the body anywhere???? or if you have a exaust mount thats too tight .??? And after that I would check the engine mountings .??? Just a thought. Good luck Frank
  20. I would say its sure to be a balance on one of the wheels or a faulty wheel so I would have them balanced again pehaps lost a weight or something .??? Frank
  21. Sorry to hear that its so bad ---You said you only had the XF for a month before this problem showed it seems to me as though it was there when you bought it and I think the garage should put it right ???? Is it the the same Jaguar Garage you bought it from who checked it and that said it would cost £5000.??? If it is I think you demand that they put it right . Im no lawyer and do not really understand but dont just let them fob you off here. Frank
  22. Hi Michail I had a very simular problem as you about 4 months ago and fitter who works on my car cured it with no charge?? This is what he done==== Key in ignition and on drop window drivers door. stand out-side the car with the door closed ignition still on put hand into car and work the small locking lever thats just above the inside door handle in and out a few times and if its really stiff squirt some WD40 into the handle and also the lock .?? work it again untill its free .?? Turn ignition off so it resets --window up and retry the locks with the Fob.?? He said if this dos'nt work its the door lock at fault .?? I hope this Helps. Frank
