Hi Everyone,

Following requests for JOC meets in various locations, I am starting the ball rolling in the Midlands and to others who are interested.

The venue I am suggesting is the Heritage Motor Museum in Gaydon, near Coventry, Warwickshire and the website for more information is heritage-motor-centre.co.uk .

The date I am suggesting is Sunday 5th October 2014, and I would like those interested to let me know as soon as is possible.  It is advantageous for us if there are 30 people in total who wish to attend, as I could then make a club booking.

I am looking forward to hearing from interested members.

Regards,

Peter.

Peter,

Whilst you in Gaydon can you organise the Jags to drive through the Aston Martin factory so they can see what decent cars look like?

I think it is a brilliant idea. Unfortunately it clashes with our JEC regions Autumn weekend event.

would like to expand it a little perhaps  Fred Bone.

Pity about the clash, Fred.

If we get 30 people attending we can book the club in and get certain privileges at a cost of £300 for the 30 which includes dedicated parking and enter to the Museum, which is normally £12.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi all,

The 5th of October Meet at the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon near Coventry is still lacking a few names.  It should be an interesting day, and I understand that there are 7 Jaguars on display.

Regards,

Peter.

We need a few more names on the list --- I intend to go on that date as the weather will be fine,  Local Jaguar owners wanted to welcome those coming from a long way away.

Only a few weeks away, and only four names on the list.....

Might be a struggle this one.

No worries, Chris,

It is a long way.

I'm up for the journey Peter. I meant that with only four names on the list so far it might be a struggle to get this one off the ground.

I would love to come along but have a weekend away planned. A shame, as I have been before and its really an interesting visit.

Hopefully next time.

Hi Peter

Thought there would have been more interest why not put it on some other Jag Forums. As I'm near Edinburgh it's a long way to travel , good luck with your meeting, I'm also thinking about organising a day out before the clocks change in October.

All the best

Good idea, Tom, although by looking at the number of JOC members in the Midlands and nearby, I thought that there would have been much more interest in a good day out before the winter starts.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Chris,

Just a month away and just enough for a game of poker!

There were so many members wanting a meet, and I thought that The Heritage Motor Museum would be a good venue.

I will give it another week or so and see how it goes.

Regards,

Peter.
