  1. Hi All, Delighted to be able to join you as today I’ve signed on the dotted line and purchased an XF. The Jaguar is the only car I’ve ever actually desired, and as I’m just over 60 (I can’t believe I’m that age) it’s now or never. Test drove it on Saturday it’s a dream, one owner, full Jaguar service history and 37k miles. Awaiting deliver later this week, really excited. Look forward to help and advice from all of you in the “Prowl” which is one of the collective nouns for a group of Jaguars 🐆 the other two being “Leap” or “Parade” Catch up soon, Norfolk Ian 🐾
  2. Hi Ian she looks fantastic -Wishing you happy motoring

A couple of years ago I changed my front side lights to LEDs, looked much better than the yellow filament bulbs. I have a yearly MOT Eq Test and this last time I was told that one of the front sidelights had failed. I quickly changed it to the old filament bulb. This wasn't flagged up by the CPU, I guess because of the resistors maintaining a load for the Canbus. A couple of months ago I did get a bulb failure indication for a few seconds which I Ignored. I suppose this was when the Leds went US. So watch out for a lamp failure indication if it lasts only a few seconds and have a walk around the car to check. M

  5. Thank you, can’t wait to finally get behind the wheel.
  6. I seem to have fixed it ! Replaced the memory switch on the door and immediately had the correct operation of the memory functions, but still no drivers seat forward and back movement with the engine running. At this point, I thought that I was still going to need to use SDD to diagnose and possibly have to replace the seat module. Then I thought, what if it has a stored fault code generated by the faulty memory switch ? Connected my code reader and, sure enough, B1B88 was showing. Cleared the code and all working fine since then.
