The cars 9 years old this October and the paint/exterior bodywork is not as i would like it to be, hence this post. I am after your advice as to what would be an acceptable price for full car respray, i am not after a quick rub down and blowover for the old girl, i intend to keep this vehicle so would prefer a proper job screens out, trim off etc. Regards

The Only thing I could suggest, is test the market, ring around some body shops to get an idea of a ball park figure.

I would guess its not going to be cheap though!

Hi Paul,

I got a quote 5/6 years ago to respray my Rover Sterling of between £1200 to £1500 - a bit depended on the cost of repairing body work - a few small dings and dents.

I did not go ahead because the car would have sold for £1000 - and a Jaguar was calling me!  Inflation would have put that price around £2500.

Regards,

Peter.

That seems cheap! Out of interest did you get a cheaper quote?
