Just purchased XF 260 late 2015, prestige. Does not have electric folding mirrors. QUESTION, can I fold the mirrors manually? Have given a tentative shove but no movement and am loath to push harder. Is it safe?!

Hi I didn't think my mirrors were folding ones because I had tried and they didn't move then I hit one accidentally  on a post and it folded ---so I folded back into correct position and found out that a sharp knock and it works OK '  So if my old X Type works I'm sure your XF will ?????

Yes I'm sure they must be. I always thought they were made that way now so that they wouldn't snap off when they took a knock? Maybe it's worth phoning a Jag dealer and ask them.

I think they do fold if not electric, but they are stiff normally. Snap back more easily
