  2. It appears, after talking to a jaguar specialist, that this can be cause by a sticking rod. I took the cover off under the steering wheel and sprayed liberal amounts of WD40. This appears to have done the trick.! no change of servo or master cylinder.. I'm overjoyed.. It was stull a bit stiff but after doing about 200 miles its now back to normal.

  3. HI Al, That's a cracking result. You can afford to treat your car to some TLC now, only having spent 30p on a few squirts of WD40..😆

  4. Go newer if same price---when you eventually go to p/ ex it they only go by book value--As i discovered recently bells and whistles etc make no difference just year and mileage. ps I just bought a 2010 xf luxury S --love it.

  6. My S type was picked up at 7.00 am by my mobile mechanic. MOT passed with no advisories. Diagnostic showed no codes, Full service including oil change. Cost -- £215, Rather chuffed! Peter.
