Adaptive Dynamics Fault
Hi Nick, Not sure on your car. Having the codes read will take out the guesswork though.

Adaptive Dynamics Fault
First of all, never assume as that could cost you a lot of money. You really need to have the codes read in order to point you in the right direction. Having had the fault myself, it was found to be a ride height sensor, which is more likely to be your problem also.

Fumes inside the car
If the car is diesel, it may be the oil fired auxiliary heater.

Brake wear light on!!
Take a ruler and you’ll be able to get a rough measure of the ones you have then simply get the same.

Yes, just a push fit.

Brake wear light on!!
Hi Baz, front left and right rear is where the sensors are. Changing the discs is only necessary if they are scored or down to the wear limit. As for pads, the choice is endless. I personally go for what was fitted at the factory. If you do it yourself you will need a 7mm or 9mm Allen key.

XKR wont crank
Check the voltage of the new battery first as well as the connections. Change the batteries in the remotes. Check the brake pedal switch is working correctly. Try again.

Your problems are well documented, search for “XF slam vents” and “XF water in doors”. These are easy fixes. Check also for “XF water wicking issue”.

Removing wheel hub centres
The problem is, over time the tangs become brittle so even taking the wheel off can lead to breaking them. You could try warming them up slightly to make them more pliable.

Removing wheel hub centres
This is the only way to do it without breaking them.

power & door locking issue
Welcome to the forum. Your thinking is probably correct and a code reader would confirm. Door locks are a common problem and should be replaced though do make sure you get the right type.

Parking aid problems
The control box or module is what the sensors plug into. You will find it in the boot, probably in the spare wheel well. When you locate it, disconnect the connectors and check for corrosion as well as signs of moisture.

XK Coolant loss/overheating
Not unheard of but thankfully, a rare occurrence. The fact you shut the car down immediately stands you in good stead. Hopefully not too expensive to put right.

Limp Mode on 1990 Daimler 4L
Welcome to the forum. Ideally you would need to have the codes read to see what the car says is wrong. My money would be a wheel speed sensor.
