Good on you. I believe we will all look forward to the outcome of your talking to Jaguar with the knowledge you have acquired. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  5. I think Jaguar in general is "very unforgiving of low voltage." My S-Type needs regular use of my CTEK MS 7 to keep it electrically fit. One of the best investments I have made in looking after my S-Type, especially for the relatively low cost. I put mine on charge at anytime when I know it is not going to be used for a couple of days. If it is used daily it still gets put on at least twice a month. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  6. Dave, Have you run a check via the OBD2 connector to see what codes the car may be showing. An OBD2 code reader is a very good investment and need not be extremely dear to be beneficial. It may prove a financial advantage to try and diagnose what is /may be faulty, rather than just keep throwing money / time at numerous items in the hope of finding/eliminating the problem . I have a Foseal Reader which are fairly cheap and I manage my S-Type quite successfully with kit. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363255573487?epid=20043258787&hash=item5493b82bef:g:AT8AAOSwlZFf~TIY Good Luck with your diagnosis and correcting the car. Best Wishes and Regards, John

Had you considered if that insider knowledge should be used to approach Jaguar management ? Cheers, John
  8. Gary, I personally believe you have answered your own question. You mention "a stock answer" and I feel you are correct. One odd sized wheel is surely going to upset the stability of the car. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  9. Welcome to the exciting ownership of Jaguar !!!!!!!!! Best Wishes, John

Being as you are not alone with this fault, one would imagine Jaguar has a manufacturing or design fault. Having said that, getting Jaguar to admit to anything would appear to be as much use as a chocolate teapot. Good luck if you and any others attempt to get Jaguar to take responsibility. Best Wishes and Regards, John
  12. Gerry, I manage my identical year/model with one of the below readers. Whether or not it would recognise what you are attempting to diagnose I do not know, as mine is only Petrol. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363255573487?epid=20043258787&hash=item5493b82bef:g:AT8AAOSwlZFf~TIY Best Wishes and Regards, John
