Hi I own a jaguar s type  2.5 by 55 plate had a coolant problem for while replaced all know parts and now found that the heater matrix is bubbling after turning car off was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and how hard is it to remove the unit many thanks any help would be much appreciated

I think you will find a lot of S Types “burble” from the dash even after the engine is switched off.

I am led to believe that it is the heater flap servo motors trying to find a resting place. May be worth investigating?

hi

is it using water, usually water coolants issues and bubbling can be head gasket

if its air locks, then you get a cold heater, does the radiator get hot at both sides

Id get a sniff test done to check head gaskets or even a compression test

My S Type used to do a bit of bubbling occasionally but it seems to have stopped. I have not had a spate of bubbling for the last three years.
