  1. Welcome to the forum, enjoy.😊
  2. Please bear in mind that some of the codes you retrieve will be historical. Write them all down and then clear the lot, take the car for a drive and then see what codes, if any, come back.
  3. Simply post the codes you get and we’ll let you know what they mean, possible causes and solutions.
  4. 32psi sounds right to me, the correct pressure should be on a plate either in the engine bay or perhaps the passenger ‘B’ pillar.
  5. Hi Nick, Not sure on your car. Having the codes read will take out the guesswork though.
  6. First of all, never assume as that could cost you a lot of money. You really need to have the codes read in order to point you in the right direction. Having had the fault myself, it was found to be a ride height sensor, which is more likely to be your problem also.
  7. If the car is diesel, it may be the oil fired auxiliary heater.
  8. Take a ruler and you’ll be able to get a rough measure of the ones you have then simply get the same.
  9. Hi Baz, front left and right rear is where the sensors are. Changing the discs is only necessary if they are scored or down to the wear limit. As for pads, the choice is endless. I personally go for what was fitted at the factory. If you do it yourself you will need a 7mm or 9mm Allen key.
  10. Welcome to the forum, enjoy.😊
  11. Excellent news and thanks for the update.🤙
  12. Here you are, https://www.halfords.com/motoring/battery-maintenance/battery-chargers/ctek-multi-mxs-7.0-battery-charger-280326.html?cm_mmc=Google+PLA-_-Motoring>Motoring+Products>Battery+Maintenance>Battery+Chargers-_-Motoring>Motoring+Products>Battery+Maintenance>Battery+Chargers-_-280326&istCompanyId=b8708c57-7a02-4cf6-b2c0-dc36b54a327e&istFeedId=62b447cf-331e-4fec-a47a-9985ff72d404&istItemId=xxwptr&istBid=t&_$ja=tsid:|cid:17363835999|agid:|tid:|crid:|nw:x|rnd:8901391371687815951|dvc:t|adp:|mt:|loc:1007258&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2pi56uO9_AIVnIBQBh3EugjwEAQYASABEgKgsvD_BwE
  13. Check the voltage of the new battery first as well as the connections. Change the batteries in the remotes. Check the brake pedal switch is working correctly. Try again.
  14. You may find the parts here or failing that, I believe you can download the parts catalogue from SNG Barrat. https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/c2n3418-sill-closing-panel.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI5P_S-K-9_AIVh9DtCh2vfwavEAQYBCABEgJCiPD_BwE
  15. Your problems are well documented, search for “XF slam vents” and “XF water in doors”. These are easy fixes. Check also for “XF water wicking issue”.
  16. The problem is, over time the tangs become brittle so even taking the wheel off can lead to breaking them. You could try warming them up slightly to make them more pliable.
  17. This is the only way to do it without breaking them.
  18. If they are plastic then they have probably faded. Try some “back to black” or some other suitable restorative.
  19. You should have it done, you’ll notice the difference.
  20. Sorry to hear that Martin. This may be of help should you need it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XK-SPORTS-X150-2006-2008-4-2-AJ-V8-32V-ENGINE/202715961061?hash=item2f32d016e5:g:gtAAAOSwfrJZx-cT&redirect=mobile
  21. Welcome to the forum, enjoy.😊
  22. Welcome to the forum. Your thinking is probably correct and a code reader would confirm. Door locks are a common problem and should be replaced though do make sure you get the right type.
  23. The control box or module is what the sensors plug into. You will find it in the boot, probably in the spare wheel well. When you locate it, disconnect the connectors and check for corrosion as well as signs of moisture.
