Hi Joe I had a Volvo 32 tone truck run away with me I was northbound on the M1 many years ago it was a unbelievable experience--I got onto the hard shoulder and tried to stop the engine but no chance so it ran to destruction ---Rod through the side ----

Yes I also think its a tyre problem when I fist had my car it was road noisy after someone said it could be the tyres I changed all four the difference was fantastic you can now hear the clock tick [if you know what i mean] it now sounds like a Jaguar. Frank]

A friend with a S Type D has a problem with the engine missing on start up but clears and runs perfect after a few min's I know this has been asked before I have looked back on the forum and cannot find the answer to the Problem can anyone help or remember --Thank-you- Frank
